Pan-Fried Chicken

Makes 4 servings

½ cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

4 boneless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

 

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Coat both sides of chicken breasts in flour mixture and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken breasts and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown on each side and cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken from pan and serve with sides, such as Cheddar and Bacon Twice-Baked Potatoes.
